SPIFFY is a TSO/ISPF enhancement

SPIFFY is a TSO/ISPF enhancement product that saves time by increasing the productivity of ISPF users, especially in environments where programmers have responsibility for multiple projects and assignments, and where maintenance and enhancements need to be implemented within tight time constraints.

SPIFFY improves existing ISPF functions, especially in the areas where programmers spend most of their time-browse, edit, member lists and dataset lists. SPIFFY enhances several ISPF functions and adds some of its own. By being fully integrated into the standard ISPF functions, SPIFFY requires little training and provides a quick return on investment. IT organizations can significantly benefit from improved productivity.

SPIFFY 5.7 is fully compatible with ISPF 5.2 and supports the AUTOTYPE Command, the NRETRIEV Command, Preserved VB Record Length on EDIT, the EXPAND Command Compatibility, and VSAM EDIT/VIEW/BROWSE Third-Party Product Support.

Also new with SPIFFY 5.7 is its ability to be configured via the Installation Wizard to invoke IBM’s DITTO/ESA and IBM’s FileManager for z/OS and OS/390 when accessing VSAM files.
